Say hello to the Bowers & Wilkins Formation Duo ($3,999.99 a pair): a powered pair of two-way bookshelf or monitor loudspeakers that you connect to your existing system via some form of wireless When a hi-fi manufacturer of Bowers & Wilkins’ pedigree makes something a little different, we sit up and listen. This time, though, we find ourselves sitting up with additional comfort and freedom of movement, because the company has entered the Bluetooth headphone market. Behold, the B&W P5 Wireless. White is also available - seen here showing the plinth as well. Bowers & Wilkins claims much improved transparency and resolution across the frequency response. On paper at least, the 603 S2 Anniversary is little changed from the preceding model though. Frequency response is given 48Hz-28kHz at +/- 3dB and sensitivity at a benign 88dB/w.
I am therefore considering the B&W range for its superior sound quality and sleek design. There are three I have in mind - the A5 (£400), A7 (£699) and Zeppelin Air (£500). My budget can be stretched to £700 but I don't want to spend that if I am just as well suited to buying the A5 at £400.
Connect Zeppelin Wireless to your network by following the instructions within these apps. - Ensure Zeppelin Wireless is powered on with a pulsing green indicator. - On your device, connect to the temporary Wi-Fi network called "ZeppelinWireless_Setup". - Open a web browser and type "192.168.10.1" in the address bar. . 168 23 423 110 473 239 84 219
