Did you disable vsync to get 60 fps? because that can cause flickering, to fix that and get 60 fps go into the text file "xenia-canaryconfig.toml" and find "vsync_interval =16" and then change it to 7.Im not sure how to help you with the issue of the game not running at 60 fps whilst at 1440p since my GTX 970 can't even get 20 fps at 1440p.
